The Odyssey: Is Nolan Really the Best Director of Our Time?

At a time when interest in cinemas has sharply declined and films are disappearing on digital platforms, struggling to find a ticket for a movie is unambiguously a major event. Horror Film That Grossed $250 Million: Backrooms Review

Sometimes the greatest horror is not monsters hiding in the dark, but being alone in a completely lit yet utterly empty room. There is no sound, only the nerve-racking hum of the fluorescent lights above your head. Backrooms is built around precisely this feeling. It is not merely a horror film, but a story about modern humanity’s loneliness, distress, and how people become lost behind the walls of their own minds.

"Michael" (2026)

Michael Jackson achieved unparalleled fame during his lifetime, and even after his death, that fame has continued to grow exponentially. The new film "Michael", which tells the story of the modern world's most famous figure, is currently causing a real storm both at the box office and on music platforms. Nearly recouping its budget with its opening weekend earnings alone, the film also propelled the artist's songs back to the top of Spotify's charts. In fact, 13 of his songs entered the 200 most-streamed tracks, and with 75 million monthly listeners, he broke his own record 17 years after his death. However, despite all this commercial success and global interest, the film has managed to drive critics and viewers sharply apart.

Ambition and Chaos: "Marty Supreme"

We know Josh Safdie from tension-filled, breathtaking films such as "Uncut Gems" and "Good Time", which he made together with his brother Benny. Now, however, he is alone behind the camera. Josh’s new film, "Marty Supreme", fully preserves the director’s chaotic and fast-paced style that we have come to know. Although the story initially appears to be a sports drama stretching from 1950s New York to London, it is actually a struggle of ego and ambition disguised as table tennis.
