The agreement was formalized by Emil Masimov, CEO of "Azerconnect Group", and Cef Fişer, NVIDIA’s senior vice president. This partnership is not merely a business relationship between two companies, but also a step that strengthens Azerbaijan’s position on the global technology map.
The first and most exciting stage of the cooperation is the expansion of the digital services portfolio. Thanks to the GeForce NOW cloud gaming service, which will be introduced by "Azerconnect Group" in the near future:
• Azerbaijani users will be able to play the most graphically demanding games in high quality on any device, including smartphones, older laptops, and tablets.
• The need for hardware, such as expensive graphics cards, will be minimized through high-speed internet and cloud technology.
The meetings were not limited to the gaming industry. The leadership of "Azerconnect Group" discussed the next stages with the team of Kris Penrose, NVIDIA’s global vice president. The following areas were identified as key priorities:
- Artificial Intelligence (AI)-Based Networks: More stable and intelligent communication through the application of AI in network management.
- 6G Infrastructure: Establishing the initial foundation for the transition to 6G, the connectivity technology of the future.
- Artificial Intelligence Data Center: Upgrading data centers in Azerbaijan with NVIDIA technologies and supporting local artificial intelligence solutions. This partnership will play an "accelerating" role in Azerbaijan’s digital transformation. Although the arrival of the GeForce NOW service will be a revolutionary innovation for young people and gamers, plans for AI and 6G will raise the country’s overall technological infrastructure to an entirely new level.
